Cold Cuts Butcher Pty Ltd was established in 2008 by the Langford family, whose butchery roots trace back to a small country shop in regional Victoria. When Geoff Langford opened the doors of the first Cold Cuts Butcher in Melbourne’s western suburbs, he brought with him over twenty years of experience working alongside some of Australia’s finest meat craftsmen.
The business grew steadily — not through aggressive marketing, but through word of mouth. Restaurants discovered that our beef aged longer and tasted better. Families found that our sausages contained real meat, not filler. Local clubs realised they could rely on us for consistent wholesale supply week after week.
Today we operate from a purpose-built facility in Victoria 3029, combining traditional butchery techniques with modern food-safety standards. We supply everyone from home cooks preparing Sunday roasts to award-winning chefs running busy kitchens, and we treat every order with the same care.

Meet the Team
Behind every cut is a person who cares. Our head butcher, Geoff Langford, leads a team of six skilled tradespeople who share a genuine passion for quality meat. Each team member holds a Certificate III in Meat Processing (Retail Butchery) or equivalent qualification, and we invest continuously in training to keep our skills sharp and our standards high.
